The CIO Circle Members Community Rules

Welcome to The CIO Circle! The membership is a non-sales safe space to help our members navigate challenges, be inspired, and build relationships and networks to help them maximize their impact. To ensure a positive and productive environment, we ask all members to adhere to the following community rules:

  1. Be Kind and Positive
    • Share and spread positivity, and be kind at all times.
  2. No Promotions or Selling
    • Do not use this membership to promote your business, sell products or services, or share affiliate links. Posts containing business links will be removed.
  3. No Self-Promotion
    • Avoid self-promotion, direct or indirect, and soliciting other members via messaging without consent.
  4. No Sub-Groups
    • Please do not set up sub-groups outside of the community. We have networking and events opportunities to help you connect with everyone in the group. If there is a topic that you would like to see more of, please get in touch and we can set these up where required.
  5. No Surveys
    • Please do not create and share surveys within the membership. Contact the admin if there is particular information you are looking for. Where required, we can set up the relevant surveys.
  6. No Hate Speech
    • The CIO Circle is a safe space for inspiration, ideas, and learning. Any hate speech or nasty comments will be removed.
  7. Respect Privacy
    • Do not enter sensitive information here.
  8. Confidentiality
    • Respect the confidentiality of discussions within the group. Do not share any information discussed in the community outside of it without permission.
  9. Active Participation
    • Engage actively and contribute to discussions. Your insights and experiences are valuable to the community.
  10. Constructive Feedback
    • When providing feedback, ensure it is constructive and aimed at fostering growth and improvement.
  11. No Spamming
    • Avoid posting repetitive content or spamming the group with irrelevant information.
  12. Event Attendance
    • If you RSVP for events or meet-ups, please honor your commitment or inform the organizers if you cannot attend.
  13. Professional Conduct
    • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. This includes using appropriate language and respecting differing opinions.
  14. Ask for Help
    • Feel free to ask for help and support from fellow members. The community is here to support each other.
  15. No Solicitation for Services
    • Do not solicit services or ask for free consultations from other members without mutual agreement.
  16. Content Sharing
    • Share content that is relevant, insightful, and beneficial to the community. Ensure that any shared content complies with copyright laws.
  17. Respect Admin Decisions
    • Respect and adhere to decisions made by the admin team. They are here to ensure the community remains a positive and productive space.
  18. Follow Group Rules
    • By being part of this community, you agree to follow these rules and respect the group policies.

Violating any of these rules may result in removal from the membership. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to create a supportive community!
